On Friday 24th February Granta School took part in the regional finals of the Physical disability group at the Lord Taverners Boccia competition. This was organized by Boccia England. Six teams took part and Granta came 5th.
All students who took part were awarded a medal and had a great, but tiring day. Our team consisted of Charlotte Granby, Jessica Arundell, Joshua Northfield and Gabby Foskett. All students had played to a very high level and prior to the competition were being coached every Monday for one hour by paralympian Dan Bentley. Our thanks goes out to him for all of his hard work.
