I just wanted to write to congratulate you and your school on your recent success in securing a School Games Mark Award for 2015-16. You have worked extremely hard throughout the year to achieve this Gold award and it really is a fantastic achievement so well done. Please make sure you share your success with colleagues, pupils and the wider school community.
We had a total of 33 schools from across South Cambs School Sports Partnership achieve an award this year and I am delighted that local schools are being rewarded for their excellent provision of PE, school sport and competition. There is a short news article on our website here. You may wish to include something similar on your school website or newsletter to share your success with parents and the local community.
Don’t forget to download your certificate and logo from your dashboard on the School Games website, the logo can then be included on your school website and headed paper etc. After half term I will be receiving a School Games plaque and plinth for you to display in school. Once I have received this I will be in touch and I would be more than happy to come along to one of your assemblies to present this and your certificate if you wished.
