Friends of Granta School (FOGS)

"Friends of Granta"

Our ‘Friends of Granta’ is a parent led organisation that raises funds for the school and organises social events for families throughout the year. We value parental involvement highly and some of the ways we involve parents in the life of the school range from parent information evenings to school plays and sports days.

We firmly believe that a school has to forge links within local and wider communities and in the time we have been open we have developed strong relationships with local schools and businesses.

I look forward to seeing you at Granta.

Please check the newsletters section regularly to keep up to date.

Expression of thanks:

United Service Collection at the Holy Trinity Church in Balsham.

Friends of Granta school, staff and children would like to express our thanks for the Generous donation from the United Service Collection at the Holy Trinity Church in Balsham.  This wonderful gesture will go towards our Arts & Activities week project for Spring 2019.  Every second year Granta School aims to provide an experience week where our very special children can explore and join in with activities they wouldn't ordinarily have access to.  The donation will be truly appreciated.

West Wratting Café Village book stall.

We would also like to say a special thanks to the Ladies in the café who organise the monthly West Wratting village book stall, who have generously offered the proceeds of their book stall to the Friends of Granta School for this academic year.  This wonderful donation will go directly towards a new book(s) each month which will be shared with our very special children throughout the school.
