In this together / Home schooling

This link will take you to where you can download a free audio book:  In this together, recently written and launched by children's author:  Giles Paley-Phillips in collaboration with Kid's audio brand tonies.  It is about Covid-19 and aims to confront some of the questions children maybe asking about why they are not in school.  Also on here are colouring activities and other downloadable books for children.

Dear Parents/carers, you are all doing a great job, nobody is expected to become teachers overnight, your child will not "get behind".  Below are some useful guidance notes on Home Learning and supporting your children

The DfE has issued guidance via Supporting your children's education during coronavirus (COVID-19)

To parents of primary-aged pupils about how they can help their children learn at home. The guidance contains suggestions about how to structure the time of both younger pupils and those in Y3-6, and how to ensure the safe use of digital devices. It also gives parents information about how to talk with their children about their learning, including the stories that they are reading, and gives hints and tips about how children can practise their writing and mathematics.  Help children aged 2 to 4 to learn at home during coronavirus (COVID-19)
