Bamboozle Theatre Trip

2nd April 2014

Some pupils thoroughly enjoyed their day at the drama workshop. When we arrived the actors introduced them selves to each child and sang a song individually with musical instruments. The story was set during World War 2 with a relocation to the countryside for the evacuation. Lots of singing, dancing and sensory props were used throughout, such as brooms, soil, flowers and lighting as well as sounds effects eg. Aeroplane engines, air raid siren, birds tweeting. As some of our pupils have visual impairments they loved the sensory props and noises and they became very animated when they sang. It was great that they sang individually to each child and gave them plenty of time to listen and respond to objects and props. A very good day!
